Soy Milk Breakfasts: 5 Ideas Ready in 10 Minutes
Short on time in the morning? Five soy milk breakfasts ready in 10 minutes: overnight oats, hot oat porridge, French toast, banana smoothie, and a soy latte with toast.

Mornings are precious. These five soy milk breakfasts all take 10 minutes or less, and some can be made the night before.
1. Soy overnight oats (3 minutes the night before)
Put the oats and soy milk in a jar and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, top with banana, berries or nuts and eat.

2. Hot soy oat porridge (8 minutes)
- Put the oats and soy milk in a small pan over low heat.
- Stir for 5–6 minutes until thick. Don't let it boil hard.
- Add honey, cinnamon or fruit to taste.

3. Soy milk French toast (10 minutes)
- Whisk the egg, soy milk and sugar.
- Soak each side of the bread for about 20 seconds.
- Fry in a little butter or oil over medium-low heat, 2–3 minutes per side, until golden.

4. Banana soy smoothie (3 minutes)
Blend for 30 seconds. The banana is sweet enough on its own. Add a spoonful of oats for a more filling drink.
5. Soy latte and toast (5 minutes)
30ml of espresso with 180ml of soy milk and a slice of toast make a simple café-style breakfast. See how to make a soy latte.
